This question has been marked as solved. [Q] mx player not working in android N update?
Read the page carefully, and follow the marked answer for solution..Solution:

1. MX player releases are beta tested, hence you should try official stable release. If you have installed MX player beta, then try installing MX player stable version. ( the one in which it is not marked as beta.)

2. If the player was working good previously, try loading reinstalling the app. Try restarting your device if it is still not opening. Android N uses app memory cache, which may sometimes fails to load the app back to RAM.

3. Install the dependency codecs as some of the video formats requires some additional codecs to be installed along side the core app itself.

Also if you see folders listed double times, then check out this post by clicking here.

4. Try to get older version of MX player if latest version couldn't help here. Get them from your old archive from your backup or from friends/colleagues.

5. Raise a bug fix request to MX player app team, since all the above solutions have not worked for you. The app support team will help your problem addressed.
